John 17:11-12

In John 17:11-12, we see the heart of Jesus as He prays for His disciples, knowing that His time on earth is coming to an end. He intercedes on their behalf, asking the Father to protect them by the power of His name.

Jesus’ deep concern is not just for their safety but also for their unity—“that they may be one as we are one.”

This powerful prayer serves as a reminder of the protection and unity we have in Christ. Even as we navigate the challenges of the world, we are not alone.

Jesus has already prayed for us, and His prayer is a source of strength, peace, and assurance that we are safeguarded by the mighty name of God.

Let us strive to live in the unity that Jesus desired for us. Let us love one another, stand together in faith, and trust that God’s protective hand is over us, guiding and keeping us in His divine purpose.
